Amy Butler's Stash & Dash Bags
Another Amy Butler pattern! What can I say, I just really love her designs. This fabric was left over from my daughter's hospital gown when she went in to have my grandson, Jack. I purchased the fabric at JoAnn's and I believe they still carry it. The pattern was purchased at a quilt shop in Palo Alto, but I know that Tall Mouse carries her patterns as well. Fairly easy to make, directions easy to follow.

Nothing to do with Sewing!
I just had to share with you what I did with my paper from Amy Butler. There Hershey bars wrapped up in beautiful paper and I used my Sizzix to cut out the flowers. I keep a half dozen or so on hand at work so I can slip one into a mail box of someone who is celebrating their birthday.
Birdie Sling Pattern by Amy Butler
I just seem to just be amazed at Amy Butler's patterns! They are so adorable. I am sure whomever is going to receive these as a gift will enjoy them as much as I did in making them. Little birdie print is from Heidi Grace or Debbie Mumm, I just can't remember. The teepee print is one I found in Joanne's as well.

Baby Burp Cloths
I made these hourglass shaped burp cloths by layering two pieces of flannel with a cotton batting layered in between them. Easy to make. Wonderful gift idea!

Napkins for The Hord Family's Christmas Dinner
The napkins were made with my Scandanavia 300 Viking Embroidery/Sewing Machine. I purchased the reindeer embroidery pattern from an online source. The napkins I purchased ready made at Target.
PJ's for Emily and Chrissa
Emily and Chrissa couldn't wait to try on their new PJ's on Christmas day! The flannel is from Joann's Fabrics. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to take advantage of the 99 cent pattern sale a few months back for Chrissa's pj's. The pattern for Emily was one I had from when her mommy was a little girl!
Earflap Hat Pattern at http://angrychicken.typepad.com/
This is a very easy pattern! I made it in 2 hours from laying out to buttoning the chin strapped closed. As you can see it is just adorable especially with my babies wearing them. If you are interested in the pattern I have listed where you can order the pattern in the Title.

Tooth Fairy Pillow & Pillowcase
This fabric is from Alexander Henry "Sprites of Tillbrook". I ordered it on line and was hoping I was going to like it, you know how that goes. Well it is just adorable and there is coordinating fabrics that go with it as well. The pattern for the pillowcase is on line and there are probably over 1/2 dozen out there. I know that Tall Mouse has a store pattern that they give out for them as well. The tooth fairy pillow is made up from one I saw that my friend Ayesha made for her daughter. It is basically a rectangle embellished and sewn up and stuffed. Very easy both of them. My Emily's personal tooth fairy couldn't find where Em placed her tooth so we are hoping that this will solve that problem for future visits.Friday, August 7, 2009

Party Pal Jackets
I had given these jackets to our friends two Christmas's ago. I told them I wanted to embroider a logo and our names on them. It has taken me that long to learn my embroidery machine! I hope that they like them! They are getting them this weekend in Laughlin!
